6 Strabismus

Eye movements are often performed poorly by candidates in examinations. Remembering the key initial steps in order (visual acuity, spectacles, inspection, cover testing, ocular rotations) will often provide sufficient information to make the diagnosis. The rest of the examination can then be targeted. As always, practise makes perfect!
